Role: AWS DevOps Engineer Duration: 12 Months Location: Santa Fe, NM/Remote

Role Description:

1. Infrastructure Management: • Design, implement, and manage scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. • utomate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.

2. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): • Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc. • Ensure seamless integration and deployment of code changes to production and non-production environments.

3. Monitoring and Logging: • Implement monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray or Prometheus. • Set up alerts and dashboards to monitor the health, user experience and service level performance of applications and infrastructure.

4. Security and Compliance: • Implement security best practices for AWS environments, including IAM policies, security groups, and network ACLs. • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., MARSE)

5. Cost Management: • Monitor and optimize AWS costs using AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, and third-party tools. • Implement cost-saving measures such as reserved instances, spot instances, and right-sizing of resources.

6. Backup and Disaster Recovery: • Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using AWS services like AWS Backup, Amazon S3, and AWS RDS snapshots. • Ensure data integrity and availability in case of failures.

7. Collaboration and Communication: • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of software. • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates.

Required Skills:

1. Technical Skills: (5 Years of experience) • WS Services: Proficiency with core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation. • Scripting and Programming: Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with programming languages like Java etc. is a plus. • CI/CD Tools: Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket etc. • Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker and container orchestration tools like Amazon ECS/EKS. • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana.

2.
