Compensation:
A national provider of complex specialty pharmacy and infusion services is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Dublin, OH. The Pharmacist provides clinical pharmacy services relative to chronic and traditional acute infusion therapies. Conducts sterile compounding, dispensing and clinical monitoring activities in accordance with all laws, regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to pharmacy practice standards as defined by the state board of pharmacy, federal agencies, and accrediting bodies.
Pharmacist Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services for chronic and acute infusion therapies, including sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and policies. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel, ensuring adherence to practice standards and policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing, intake, admissions, and sales, to optimize patient outcomes and streamline pharmacy services. Actively participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives to support continuous improvement efforts. Support inventory management, procurement, and adherence to company procedures for controlled substances and pharmacy documentation. Ensure pharmacy dispensing aligns with insurance authorization processes and assist the reimbursement team with insurance audits as needed. Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:30 - 5 On-call rotation every 3-5 weeks Pharmacist Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a specialty home infusion or hospital setting, with focus on pharmacy IV room responsibilities. Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or Registered Pharmacist (R.Ph.) with relevant clinical experience. Active state licensure. Infusion therapy experience required. Proficiency in CPR+/Care Tend software is preferred. Strong clinical and customer service skills.
