VOIP Engineer
for a
Contract-to-hire
job with a client in
Washington, DC . You will design, implement, and maintain VoIP and VTC systems to ensure seamless communication across the organization.
Rate Range:
$35/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
VOIP Engineer job responsibilities include:
Designing, implementing, and maintaining VoIP and VTC systems to ensure seamless communication. Configuring and troubleshooting VoIP and VTC hardware and software components, ensuring optimal performance. Integrating VoIP and VTC systems with existing network infrastructure and communication tools. Monitoring system health and proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions aligned with business objectives. Implementing security measures to safeguard VoIP and VTC systems from unauthorized access. Providing technical support and training to end-users, resolving technical issues promptly. Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps. Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum of 6 years of experience managing and integrating VoIP and VTC systems. Strong understanding of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP) and VTC technologies. Proven experience in troubleshooting and configuring VoIP and VTC hardware and software components. Pay Details:
$35.00 to $45.00 per hour
