Toray Advanced Composites (TAC) is a leading supplier of advanced composite materials for the aerospace, sporting goods, motor sport and industrial markets. You will find our thermoset composite products on nearly every satellite, space launch vehicle, unmanned aircraft, military and commercial aircraft in production today. TAC also provides composites materials to industrial and recreational applications including mountain bikes, medical prosthetics and sports equipment.

Our thermoplastic prepregs, known in the industry as Cetex®, are found in a wide range of commercial and military aircraft, including large wing structures and interior applications like seats and galleys. Our Cetex products are available in unidirectional tape or fabric form in a variety of engineered thermoplastic resins including PEEK, PPS, PEI as well as a full line of performance thermoplastics including Nylon, PET, PC/ABS, HDPE, and PP.

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

Applications Developer II will require strong experience in developing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Dynamics D365 F&O (ERP), SQL, and Power BI. This role requires an in-house versatile developer who can design, implement, and maintain software solutions that streamline manufacturing processes and enhance reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with MES solutions, customizations in D365, and integrating data for robust analytics and reporting through Power BI. This person will complete development requirements (functional specs, test plan, revisions, etc) develop and troubleshoot software solutions, bugs, data, and system configuration issues.

MAJOR DUTIES AND REQUIREMENTS:

In-House Resource to support, troubleshoot, and enhance our enterprise software systems, including Dynamics 365 ERP, Power BI, GE Proficy, and all other business applications. Dynamics 365 (D365) Customization and Development to meet specific business needs. Develop and debug modules and custom workflows for inventory management, production, procurement, accounting, and MRP. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support data retrieval, reporting, and system integrations. Work with relational databases to ensure data accuracy and reliability between MES, D365, and other business systems. Develop interactive, data-driven Power BI reports and dashboards to provide key performance indicators (KPIs), operational insights, and real-time analytics to stakeholders. Integrate Power BI with both D365 and MES systems to create end-to-end visibility across the business. Build and maintain integrations between MES, D365, and other systems, ensuring smooth data flow and synchronization. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise, ensuring minimal impact on operations. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Ensure the proper documentation of all customizations, integrations, and workflows for future reference and troubleshooting. Design, Develop, and Maintain SSRS Reports. Create custom, ad-hoc, and scheduled reports using SSRS to meet business and operational needs, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with user requirements. Assist the infrastructure team with the installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of business applications. Contribute to quality assurance and testing efforts, including creating use cases and test cases, performing unit testing, and collaborating with business users to validate report data and application enhancements. Present technical concepts and solutions to peers and the IT team. All other duties as required EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 5+ year experience 3+ years of development experience in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Dynamics 365 (F&O), SQL, SSRS, and Power BI. Working knowledge in SQL, XML, C#, NET framework, X++ and .NET programming languages Proficient in SDLC and DevOps practices and methodologies. Possesses deep knowledge of industry-standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the relevant field of expertise. Hands-on experience with relational databases, client-server architectures, and object-oriented programming concepts. Understand business requirements, as well as technical solutions. Ability to articulate and document objectives, progress, and issues effectively to technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated ability to develop utilizing Visual Studio Possesses demonstrated work experience that would indicate expertise in complex database concepts and in effectively employing different database design techniques Flexible work schedule in order to support different work shifts, accommodate system upgrades and maintenance that must be performed outside of normal operating hours Participate in periodical 7x24 rotational technical support for enterprise applications team Attention to detail, well organized and able to multitask Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team, contributing to both technical and business goals. Must be able to communicate clearly (written and verbally) in English Able to work effectively and timely Maintain work areas in a neat, orderly, and safe manner Follow safety procedures for PPE (personal protection equipment) Ability to move and lift objects up to 50 pounds PREFERRED SKILLS:

Working knowledge of MS SQL database and queries optimization Working knowledge of application security best practices Experience with AX 2012 (MFG, SCM, Finance, Security, Reports) Configure Dynamics D365 using .NET, X++ and other technologies. Experience in workflow development (AssurX/Formerly CATSWeb preferred) Experience with Ignition, Cognos, Historian This role is 100% onsite in Morgan Hill, CA or hybrid (2-4 days a week onsite)

SALARY RANGE:

$115,000 - $135,000 annually
