Role Description
As a PLM Change Analyst you will work various engineering teams and will be responsible for generating and releasing engineering and New Product Introduction Bills Of Materials (BOMS) and support documentation into consumable packages for downstream internal customers. You will verify attachments, BOMs, sourcing information, and other relevant metadata to ensure the item and BOM records are correct in the PLM system.
You will also be responsible for the maintenance and execution of any engineering change orders (ECOs) relevant to the projects you work on. You will ensure ECOs are reviewed and released in a timely manner, including follow-ups with approvers and escalations as needed. You will be responsible for publishing ECO information and reports in order to notify all relevant parties of the upcoming changes. You will also be responsible for conducting ECO review meetings as needed in order to ensure timely release of changes.
What you'll do:
Ensure CAD designs are properly input into our PLM system Generate ECOs to manage part and BOM changes Drive ECOs to completion Support a wide range of departments and teams using the PLM tool Support efforts to improve / update internal PLM processes What you'll bring:
BA/BS degree with 1+ years of industry experience or 4+ years of relevant industry experience Experience in a manufacturing environment Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication Unparalleled multi-tasking abilities Top notch critical thinking skills Ability to react to resets and changes in a fast-paced environment Able to learn and work with a variety of different tools and applications required for the role Additional Requirements - strongly preferred, but not required:
Experience with Arena PLM (or other PLM) and change management process Experience managing, organizing, and maintaining large quantities of data Experience working with multiple different teams in a R&D environment Experience working with a CAD system (Solidworks preferred)
