Job Summary:
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Contracts Specialist to work on a hybrid (1x a week on-site) based in Arlington, VA. This role involves overseeing government client contracts, aiding in agreement negotiations, and preparing contract modifications. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of contracting experience and a background in government procurement. Familiarity with Non-FAR based instruments is advantageous but not mandatory.
Responsibilities of the Contracts Specialist: Managing the terms and conditions of government client contracts Supporting the negotiation of agreements Drafting contract amendments Evaluating procurement policies and procedures Assessing proposed costs and prices Compiling necessary contract file documentation in accordance with the FAR, DFARS, and other relevant policies/regulations Qualifications of the Contracts Specialist:
8+ years of experience in contracting Bachelor's degree Experience in government procurement, including preparing cost proposals, negotiating contract terms and conditions, drafting contract amendments, managing contracts or subcontracts, and evaluating costs and prices Experience with Non-FAR based instruments such as Other Transaction Agreements, Grants, and/or Cooperative Agreements Active U.S. Government Secret Level security clearance required Compensation of the

Salary Range:
$135,000-$165,000 depending on experience Comprehensive Benefits:
