ServiceNow Technical Consultant -FSO/ITSM
for our premier client in
Lincolnshire, Illinois .
WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Technical Requirements and Certifications "
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) plus multiple ServiceNow CIS certifications, demonstrating advanced proficiency.
Education and Experience "
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in information technology (IT), with at least 3 years focused on ServiceNow platform implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of ITIL framework and proven experience applying ITIL principles in ServiceNow implementations. Expertise in technical components such as LDAP, SSL, SAML/SSO, and experience with web services integrations. Demonstrated track record of leading the development and delivery of complex ITSM solutions, including experience with Agile methodologies. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong leadership capabilities with a focus on mentoring and developing team members. Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations. Proven ability to make sound decisions with significant impact on project outcomes and departmental credibility. Willingness to be a visible leader, representing the organization in client-facing interactions and industry events. Ability to travel as needed to support client engagements, typically up to 20% of the time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities:
Lead the estimation, design, and delivery of advanced solutions for customers, incorporating deep understanding of process design, ServiceNow technical best practices, and industry standards. Champion the evolution of Professional and Managed Services processes, leveraging your experience to enhance portfolios, capabilities, and best practices in alignment with customer needs. Spearhead the creation, deployment, and enhancement of technical best practices and standards, driving continuous improvement within the team. Oversee the completeness, consistency, and high quality of technical deliverables to ensure they meet customer expectations and deliver tangible outcomes. Manage and mentor junior consultants, providing guidance and support throughout project lifecycles. Continuously assess and enhance internal processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and ServiceNow platform updates to inform strategic decision-making and solution development. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and drive successful outcomes for clients.
