Role

This position is part of a small, high-functioning, high-performing team and will combine expertise in rapid development of proof-of-concept software capabilities and quick turnaround analysis of select technologies. The role provides an opportunity to design and implement software that will go directly to operators on the front lines of the US cyber mission. Responsibilities Design and develop robust and high-quality tools and solutions with a focus on users' needs over all other factors Integrate testing into day-to-day development activities and contribute to continuous integration pipelines for capabilities being built Decompose customer requests into smaller, more manageable tasks for the team to work on Required Qualifications

Must have an active TS security clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Degree requirement can be met with four years of hands-on experience in a software engineer or similar full-time position 4+ years of experience as a professional software developer Proficient in the following programming languages - Python, C, or similar Comfortable and proficient in Linux-based development and deployment environments Ability to collaborate with a team but execute independently Experience communicating with customers and end-users Comfortable in a high-trust, adaptable, team environment Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the required qualifications)

Experience in a software development or similar role Experience contributing to and leading the design of new capabilities Experience kicking off a project in a technical role Experience in customer-facing roles Experience in computer system networking Experience in the Offensive Cyber Operations domain Experience with Hackathons or Capture the Flag (CTF) events
