Job Overview: As a key player in our supply chain, you are responsible for managing the procurement of materials, supplies, and components used in the company's production support functions. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to ensure optimal inventory levels, prevent shortages or overages, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes. In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to handle urgent requests and provide support to our domestic manufacturing process, ensuring that production runs smoothly and that any issues, such as delivery delays or equipment repairs, are resolved promptly. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a "find-a-way" mindset, capable of solving challenges and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: • Plan and execute procurement for all domestic manufacturing needs. • Develop and maintain qualified sources of supply through regular search, appraisal, and negotiation with potential vendors. • Maintain strong working relationships and communication within manufacturing and key suppliers to confirm production/shipping schedules and monitor open purchase orders for all orders to ensure on-time deliveries. • Proactively report and resolve product/material availability issues. • Collaborate with production planning to maintain inventory levels. • Manage MRP, material master, and supplier information in the ERP system. • Lead supplier management initiatives: RFQ, negotiations, cost savings, and relationship building. • Provide support to customer service, sales team, product management with business and product strategy and new product launch. • Develop and implement approved multiple supplier base; recommend the use of alternate materials, services, and supplies; develop and implement back-up sourcing plan(s) for finished goods, and key raw materials and components. • Handle all production urgent requests like expedited deliveries and machine repairs. • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned. • Completes special projects and assignments as required.

Key Qualifications: • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Problem-solving mindset; persistence in overcoming obstacles. • Always seek solutions: don't take "no" for an answer-ask "why not?" and find alternative ways to meet objectives. • Common sense and ability to prioritize with a strong sense of urgency. • Effective communicator with cross-functional team collaboration. • Experience in supply chain management and purchasing techniques. • Ability to negotiate effectively and manage supplier relationships. • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • 1-2 years Supply Chain experience Preferred • Domestic sourcing experience not necessary but a plus.
