What You Will Be Doing:
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Oversee the entire recruitment process for direct hire roles in the construction and industrial sectors.
- Sourcing Top Talent: Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for high-volume and specialized roles including trades, skilled labor, and management positions.
- Candidate Screening & Interviews: Conduct resume reviews, interviews, and candidate evaluations to match the company’s hiring needs.
- Collaborating with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a strong network of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
- Utilizing ATS & Tools: Use Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools to streamline hiring processes and track recruitment activities.
- Industry Engagement: Stay informed on trends and best practices in construction and manufacturing recruitment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Recruiting Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition, especially in construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
- Proven Success: Track record of recruiting for both high-volume and specialized positions.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using ATS, job boards, and other recruitment tools to optimize the hiring process.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging candidates and collaborating with teams.
- Organized & Efficient: Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Trade Recruitment: Experience recruiting for skilled labor and trade positions.
- Bilingual: Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with employment laws and regulations specific to the construction and manufacturing industries.
Other Essential Functions:
- Build Strong Partnerships: Develop relationships with universities, trade schools, and industry organizations to source top talent.
- Attend Career Fairs & Events: Represent the company at career fairs and recruitment events to connect with skilled construction professionals.
- Leverage Recruiting Tools: Utilize job boards, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and other tools to identify and engage top candidates.
- Screen & Present Candidates: Evaluate candidates and present the most qualified professionals to clients based on their specific hiring needs.
- Candidate Sourcing & Networking: Engage with potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and networking events.
- Reporting & Analytics: Track recruiting metrics, provide regular updates, and adjust strategies based on performance data.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with other HR professionals and team members to ensure a seamless hiring process.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on recruiting trends and implement new practices to enhance talent acquisition efforts.
