ABOUT THE ROLE The Head of Consolidation is responsible for overseeing the consolidation of financial statements and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards. This role involves leading the consolidation process for the company's global operations and providing accurate and timely consolidated financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. The Head of Consolidation will also play a key role in the development and implementation of financial reporting systems and processes, particularly utilizing Tagetik.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Financial Reporting: Lead the consolidation process for all subsidiaries and entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards. Intercompany Transactions: Ensure all intercompany transactions and balances are accurately eliminated in the consolidation process. Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement consolidation policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization. Collaboration: Collaborate with regional and local finance teams to gather and validate financial data, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the consolidation process. Analysis: Review and analyze consolidated financial results to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to senior management. External Reporting Support: Support the external reporting team in preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and other regulatory requirements. Cash Flow Statements: Manage the preparation of consolidated cash flow statements and related disclosures. Guidance on Standards: Provide guidance on the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards related to consolidation, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards. Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls over the consolidation process, working closely with the internal controls team to ensure compliance. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of consolidation accountants, providing direction, support, and development opportunities. Financial Systems: Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting systems and processes, particularly using Tagetik. Ensure that the system meets the organization's needs and complies with regulatory standards. Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the consolidation process. Training: Provide training and support to finance teams on consolidation processes, internal controls, and the use of Tagetik. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Education:

Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or a related field, with a strong background in working with US GAAP and PCAOB standards. Required Training/Certifications:

Additional Requirements:

Extensive experience with SEC reporting requirements and a thorough understanding of consolidation accounting principles. Proficiency in financial consolidation software (particularly Tagetik) and Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
