Job Requirements of the Driver:

One (1) year experience operating a company vehicle. Must possess class C driver's license. Must have a clean driving record. Experience as a courier and transporting residents preferred. Preference for a valid CNA license in the State of Florida Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Driver:

Transport residents to medical appointments and recreational activities according to established schedules and allotted times. Assist residents entering and exiting the facility's vehicle. Drive facility's vehicle to events and activities outside the facility, as necessary. Coordinate with facility medical and nursing personnel regarding transporting residents to scheduled medical appointments. Coordinate with Activities Director and Activities Assistant regarding transporting residents to scheduled activities. Ensure that emergency equipment (i.e., triangles, fire extinguisher, and first-aid kit) is available and in good working condition. Recommend to your supervisor the equipment and supply needs for the Facility's vehicle. Assist in the moving and arranging of equipment and supplies to assure that the Facility's vehicle is ready for scheduled appointments and activities. Maintain an incident and accident-free driving record.
