Kratos is seeking a dynamic
Program Control Data Analyst/Power BI Specialist
to join our team. This role combines expertise in program planning, financial control, variance analysis, and data analytics to support complex government contracts. The ideal candidate will be adept in Federal procurement and program types (e.g., CPAF, CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQs) and possess skills in Power BI for developing insightful dashboards and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Control and Financial Planning:
Interface with program managers, finance, accounting, contracts, subcontracts, and procurement teams to address operational issues effectively. Prepare financial deliverables and internal/external reports, including Annual Operating Plans (AOP), monthly forecasts, and Estimates-At-Complete (EACs). Develop and manage program budgets (spend plans) and analyze funding profiles and financial variances. Conduct cost, schedule, and contract performance variance analysis. Review, track, and approve customer invoices and backup documentation. Support Request for Proposals (RFPs), prepare pricing models, and perform cost analysis. Manage subcontractor costs, purchase requisitions, travel expenses, and invoice approvals. Power BI Reporting and Data Analysis:
Collaborate across departments to gather, model, and analyze data. Develop, design, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for actionable insights. Optimize data models to ensure efficient data retrieval and analysis. Document methodologies, processes, and findings comprehensively for future reference. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, security, and governance across reports and dashboards. Integrate Power BI with data sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Federal government contracting. Expertise in program control, finance, cost estimating, and financial analysis. Proficiency in variance analysis, financial metrics, and program life cycle management. Strong knowledge of Power BI and data visualization best practices. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). US Citizenship is required. Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Costpoint and Cognos reporting tools. Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Experience documenting technical specifications and communicating findings to diverse audiences.
