LHH is seeking a skilled
Legal Secretary
for a law firm in Birmingham, MI to support the corporate practice team in Birmingham. This is a dynamic role for a detail-oriented, organized professional who excels in client service and thrives in a collaborative team environment. Roles & Responsibilities: Provide high-quality administrative support to 4 attorneys, ensuring client-focused professionalism. Edit, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and memos with precision. Handle document management, including drafting, filing, and closing preparation for corporate transactions. Transcribe dictation, maintaining accuracy and a professional appearance in all documents. Answer and route calls courteously, manage incoming mail, and coordinate document delivery. Maintain attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and ensure deadline adherence. Enter, proofread, and finalize billing information accurately. Manage client files, including opening, maintaining, and closing in line with retention policies. Arrange travel, conference calls, and meeting preparations. Provide overflow support and assist with other duties as needed. Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's in legal studies or related field preferred. Experience:
2+ years as a legal secretary or related law firm experience. Familiarity with corporate law and document management. Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and legal document management software. Strong organizational, multitasking, and proofreading abilities. Excellent communication and professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Preferred:
Knowledge of iManage or similar systems. Benefits:

$55,000-$70,000
