Description: We are seeking an Information Technology Analyst II to design, implement, and maintain programs and systems to support various business and operational needs. The role involves ensuring the performance and reliability of systems, analyzing business requirements, and providing technical expertise across multiple areas. This position may require providing support during non-working hours in a 24/7 environment.
Key Responsibilities: Design, analyze, and modify new and existing programs for various needs, including clinical and operational support. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications, ensuring reliability and performance. Create and maintain project plans, design documentation, and change management procedures. Monitor system performance, provide performance improvement recommendations, and generate reports. Develop detailed specifications and programming structures, conducting thorough testing to ensure quality. Train end users and support the deployment and maintenance of technology updates. Provide technical support by monitoring systems, responding to incidents, and acting as a liaison for clinical or business-related issues. Manage and design interfaces between multiple systems to support hospital needs. Support and document application development, collaborating with other teams for smooth project migration. Participate in IT and clinical committees, provide workflow analysis, and conduct user training sessions. Perform second-level support tasks, including software installations, virus removals, and device support.
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Strong initiative and customer service skills, with excellent organizational and communication abilities. Knowledge of operating systems and databases, including Windows, UNIX, Oracle, and SQL. Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, HTML, Visual Basic, and C++. Experience with integration standards like HL7 and tools such as ServiceNow and Microsoft Project. Proficiency in supporting end-user systems, performing workflow assessments, and providing technical training.
Desired Skills: Experience with financial systems and technologies like Cobol, Lawson, XML, and Kronos. Knowledge of healthcare information systems and familiarity with clinical workflows. Experience with desktop and system administration, including Active Directory and antivirus solutions. Understanding of telecommunications systems, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and VOIP technologies. Relevant certifications, such as Epic, Cisco, ITIL, or PMP, are desirable.
Compensation: Pay Range: $35-$38 Per Hour
