Human Resources Director Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in business or related field Preferred OR A combination of education and experience that provides the necessary knowledge and skills specific to human resource management, with a minimum of an AA degree Knowledge of state and federal regulations as they relate to human resources/employee/employer relations Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to comprehend and apply complex written documents including statutes and policy Ability to maintain confidentiality to the highest degree Ability to maintain and display professional demeanor at all times Demonstrated cultural competency Strong organizational skills Willingness to assist where needed Basic computer skills Salary Range:

Superintendent Job Goal:
Plan, coordinate and manage human resource functions in the district in such a way as to promote overall efficiency and consistency across the district. Ensure that all relevant policies and statutes are adhered to. Performance Responsibilities: A. Supervise Personnel Functions Develop, prepare and distribute recruiting materials for all vacant positions, utilizing proper posting procedures Correspond with posting agencies, applicants and supervisors regarding openings Supervise the development and updating of job descriptions Process applications for employment Arrange and conduct interviews following district policy In cooperation with administration, develop interview questions Conduct background checks and ensure drug screening occurs Monitor and maintain applicant files for all positions On-board new hires including orientations Ensure personnel files are maintained Administer testing opportunities Facilitate required annual training Maintain Employee Handbooks Manage all aspects of employee exit processes including exit interviews and necessary documentation B. Coordinate Human Resource Functions Oversee, interpret and communicate contract language, district policies and procedures Create and revise employee related policies, including presenting to the policy committee and board Aid in maintaining bargaining group information and seniority lists Coordinate/oversee preparation of annual Notice of Assignment Monitor staff evaluation process, ensuring evaluations are complete and on file in the district office Act as district EEOC and Title IX compliance officer C. Negotiations Participates in negotiations with all unions and administer union contracts on behalf of the district Assist in interpreting employee contracts Assists in research for employee grievances and or employee questions D. Employee Discipline Coordinate investigations into employee complaints and complaints against employees Guide/answer questions from supervisors regarding steps in the disciplinary process, post-investigation Communicate and debrief with Superintendent for employees who are receiving disciplinary actions Review, audit and compile information from employees that are brought to the Board for termination of contract Work with administration to make recommendations for terminations Audit processes and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable contract language, laws and policies E. Other Duties Maintain confidentiality Attend trainings as needed/assigned Model excellent attendance and professionalism, and prompt others to do the same Committee and workgroup leadership or membership as assigned Attend board meetings and provide written reports Terms of Employment:
