Senior Director of Marketing and Communications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team. The Marketing Director is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company’s brand, products, and services. This role oversees the marketing team and ensures that all campaigns and initiatives align with business objectives and resonate with target audiences. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a director of marketing and communication with a strong knowledge of advertising principles and practices. They will possess strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with company goals and budget to drive business growth, brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. Lead the development and execution of all marketing plans. Oversee digital marketing, content creation, social media, email campaigns, and advertising initiatives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify and understand target audiences, customer needs and preferences, industry trends, and competitive positioning. Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively. Develop and produce marketing materials such as brochures, videos, blogs, and product descriptions to support brand messaging and lead generation. Lead public relations efforts, including managing media relations, writing press releases, and enhancing the company’s visibility and reputation in the industry. Create lead generation strategies, nurture prospects, and collaborate closely with the sales team to provide marketing support and drive conversion. Effectively allocate and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and overseeing relationships with external agencies. Plan and manage events, system enhancement launches, and networking activities to raise brand awareness, build partnerships, and generate new business opportunities. Monitor, review, and report on all marketing activities, results, and Return on Investment (ROI). Manage all day-to-day marketing activities for the company, including websites, blogs, social media, branch sites, print materials, and marketing collateral. Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging. Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement. Consistently identify new or expanded revenue opportunities and strategize their implementation plans. Control and manage the Palco brand and any other internal brands, ensuring consistency and alignment through internal and external controls. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team. Skills and Attributes

Ability to learn and navigate a variety of technology platforms for task management, outreach documentation, and follow-up monitoring such as CRM, Confluence, OneDrive, and others. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Deep knowledge and experience with digital media channels, branding, and market research. Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms, email marketing software, CRM systems and project management tools. A passion for creativity, with the ability to contribute to content ideation and brand storytelling that resonates with target audiences. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present ideas clearly. Experience in overseeing marketing projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and timelines.
