WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT:

Lead the end-to-end design process for WordPress-based products, focusing on user-centered design, UI/UX, and the creation of visually appealing, intuitive experiences for web and mobile platforms. Partner with developers, product managers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure designs are effectively translated into functional, high-performance products that align with user needs and business objectives. Develop and maintain cohesive design systems, style guides, and wireframes, ensuring that all design elements align with brand guidelines, enhance usability, and ensure consistency across products. Use analytics, user feedback, and performance metrics to iteratively improve designs, enhance user experience, and optimize the functionality and visual design of WordPress sites and applications.

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS:

3-5+ years of hands-on product/UX design experience preferably within the B2C or e-commerce industries Understanding of UX flows, prototyping, wireframing, UX development and requirements management, and UX best practices. Portfolio is required. (Examples of HOW you got to your finished product is important.. user flows, wireframes, prototypes, case studies, etc.) Experience with WordPress is preferred
