Responsibilities/ Accountabilities

Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting facility equipment, including HVAC systems, water purification, and clean room environments. Respond to technical and operational issues related to facility infrastructure. Monitor facility systems for any abnormalities and ensure timely intervention.

Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to GMP and other relevant regulatory standards for the pharmaceutical industry. Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and calibrations. Assist in audits and ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards.

Project Support: Participate in facility improvement projects, including installation and commissioning of new equipment. Support energy efficiency projects and sustainability initiatives within the facility. Assist in evaluating technical specifications for new machinery and infrastructure updates.

Safety & Risk Management: Ensure safety standards are met and that all work adheres to the company's safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections and report any safety hazards or potential risks. Support emergency response protocols, including addressing facility-related emergencies.

Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the operations, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless facility support. Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for equipment servicing and repair work. Communicate facility performance and status to relevant internal stakeholders.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and facility operations.

Familiarity with GMP, OSHA, and other relevant regulations (preferred).

Experience

Pharma relevant experience is a plus.

Previous internship or co-op experience in a similar role (preferred but not required).

Skills/ Competencies

Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering design software (preferred).

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Attention to detail with the ability to document and manage compliance data.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
