Koch and Associates is in search of a construction manager to join our residential design and build landscape company. As the construction manager, you will be responsible for managing 2-3 construction crews, managing subcontractors, ordering materials, writing and maintaining accurate construction schedules, and coordinating with clients. This individual needs to have at least 5+ years of experience in landscape construction and understand all facets of the trade including hardscape, softscape, carpentry, and reading blueprints. Previous construction management experience required for this position. Ability to speak Spanish and English highly preferred.

Specific Job Responsibilities:
Management and scheduling of 2-3 construction crews Management and scheduling of subcontractors Order project specific materials Review of projects before start of construction with office staff, clients, and field staff At times move equipment and materials to or from jobsites Uphold the quality and efficiency of construction by staff and subcontractors Planning and Scheduling
Create an accurate and realistic construction schedule Assemble material lists and check costs with multiple vendors. Have materials available when needed by the field staff. Orchestrate delivery of materials by vendors or pick up by our staff Qualifications:
Minimum 4 years experience in landscape and/or construction installation; 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position overseeing install crews Experience in general construction practice, installation of patios, walkways, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, retaining walls, horticulture, plant installation, basic masonry, carpentry, and irrigation Proficient in reading and implementing Construction Blueprints Ability to use computer related programs for project analysis, scheduling, labor/hours inputting and review, and material ordering Experience with financial budgets, forecasting, strategic planning is a plus Knowledge and/or working experience with Construction and/or Landscaping California drivers license Physical Requirements:
Constantly required to talk, hear, see, sit, stand, and walk Frequent use of hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects, tools or controls Frequently required to reach, bend, twist, stoop, crouch, climb, and balance Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and seldom lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Job Type:
