(Regular Full Time) Location:

As a Construction Engineer in the Estimating Department, you will be trained in Pre-Construction/Estimating. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES Assist senior Estimators in determining workloads and other work tasks, and assists with or reviews and processes submittals, change orders, payment requests, RFI's, and other duties as assigned. Cost engineer functions such as quantity tracking, time sheets, cost report preparation, assistance in forecasting, tracking various material and equipment logs. Assists in the calculation of various production rates and studies for self-performed work. Responsible for the documentation and submittal for the LEED Certification of a building and for creating and updated Digital Record Drawings. Assists with Quality Control and Safety responsibilities and subcontractor coordination and oversight. Provides support to superintendents required for the execution of the work and assists in the resolution of field problems as necessary. Assist with project schedule and in tracking monthly progress. Assist in take-off, subcontractor quote solicitation, subcontractor bid comparisons, and other duties as assigned. SKILLS Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Primavera P6 helpful. Ability to read, review and perform technical reviews of plans and specification for construction projects. Able to plan and organize tasks, have strong written and oral communication skills and function under pressure or time limitations.
