NIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a UX/UI Designer for a hybrid role based in Albany, NY. Candidates with active LinkedIn accounts are preferred.
Position: The UX/UI Designer will support project goals by creating wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces for a system under development while leveraging UX research and best practices to make informed recommendations. The ideal candidate will collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders, demonstrating strong communication skills and a client-focused approach to achieve project objectives.

SCOPE OF SERVICES:
As a UX/UI Designer, your responsibilities include:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather project requirements and details.
Identifying key areas of improvement in information architecture designs.
Creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to support business analyst work and stakeholder reviews.
Designing draft information architectures for digital and print mediums.
Enhancing existing information architectures to improve interactivity and usability.
Evaluating performance and usability of information architectures through analysis and research.
Collaborating with creative team members on UX and UI design tasks.
Keeping team members updated on design principles and best practices.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Note: Candidates who do not meet the mandatory skills will not be considered.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Minimum of 4 years of related experience in UX/UI design.
Proficiency in using tools like Figma for wireframing and prototyping.
Strong understanding of information architecture design principles and user research methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proven ability to design and enhance user-friendly interfaces for digital platforms.
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Advanced education or certifications in UX/UI design.
Familiarity with state or government projects.
Experience in both digital and print mediums.
Ability to work under hybrid schedules and adapt to stakeholder needs.
