Position Summary:
The Senior Telecom Engineer is responsible for the design,administration and maintenance of the Company’s PBX Operations, Automated Call Distribution (ACD), Voicemail system and Integration to ACD, Telecommunications Integration to Call Centers and the configurations controls, backups, documentation and testing of all changes to these systems prior to production implementation. Also, responsible for cableplant design, coordination, and oversight for all cableplant needs, including design, mac (move,add change) work, and new installations.

Minimum Qualifications:High School Diploma, advanced technical training in Telecom. A minimum of (5) years in support of large Siemens PBX environments.**
PBX configuration knowledge Siemens HIpath PBX’s, Telecom technologies and standards, such as T1,ISDN/PRI,Trunking,VOIP configuration, TCP/IP networking. SS7 and SIP signaling protocols. Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies. Excellent written and verbal communications skills required. Excellent computer literacy and application use skills. Working knowledge of MS Office, file transfer protocols, internet protocols, etc.
