Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Critical Care Specialist
Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in beautiful Florida! We're seeking an experienced respiratory care professional to provide exceptional patient care in our state-of-the-art acute care facility.
Core Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive respiratory care treatments and therapies according to physician orders Manage and operate advanced respiratory equipment including ventilators and life support systems Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) analyses Set up and maintain both routine and specialized respiratory therapy equipment Provide patient and family education regarding respiratory care and treatments Monitor patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team members Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records Required Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year acute care experience in ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or Critical Care settings Active Florida State Respiratory License NBRC RRT/CRT certification Current BLS certification Ability to obtain ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications within 30 days of employment Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Location:
