Senior Manager, Master Data Management

Darigold is seeking a Senior Manager, Master Data Management to join our team. This leader will be responsible for overseeing and leading the Master Data Management function, which will focus on developing and managing our centralized data to enable streamlined reporting and analytics to create actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Data is the foundation to successful execution and this leader's function work will be critical to enabling Darigold's transformation.
As the leader of Master Data, you will ensure that we have reliable, complete and accurate data and that it is structured to support data analytics, visualizations and reporting. Your role will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, development and execution of master data governance across the organization. Your team will ensure high-quality, accurate and consistent data across all business systems, promoting efficient data management practices and enabling data-driven decision-making. Your expertise in data governance, data architecture and MDM technologies will be key in your collaboration with IT and the business to establish connection of our data across the enterprise.
What You Will Do:
Develop and drive the master data management strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. Lead and mentor a cross-functional MDM team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment. Establish and manage MDM policies, standards and best practices across the organization. Ensure the organization's MDM initiatives align with overall data governance, compliance and data quality frameworks. Oversee the creation and enforcement of data governance processes to ensure accurate, complete and secure master data. Define and maintain data quality metrics, monitoring and improving the integrity of the data across systems. Work with data stewards to resolve data quality issues and ensure timely data cleansing. Partner with business units (such as IT, Operations, Finance and Marketing) to understand data needs and align MDM efforts with business priorities. Provide ongoing reporting and analysis to key stakeholders on the status of MDM projects and data health. Drive the ongoing improvement of MDM processes to adapt to evolving business needs and technology advancements. Lead the development of training and educational programs for internal stakeholders on MDM best practices. Develop industry perspective of technology capabilities and tools and integrate into IT roadmap. Provide career development and support for your team of employees, including actively developing leadership skills and capabilities. What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus. 8+ years of experience in data management and 5+ years of experience leading a team with strong leadership and strategic thinking skills. Strong understanding of data governance principles, data architecture and data lifecycle management. Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and managing MDM solutions. Experience with BI tools with emphasis on Power BI. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Oracle, Snowflake, Redshift). Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java or Scala. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences and take detailed technical information and communicate at the executive level. Experience with data warehousing, data integration and data modeling and ETL processes are a plus. Understanding of compliance regulations related to data management (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
