Technical SIGINT Analyst

Clearance:
TS/SCI Responsibilities:
Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to intercept, analyze, and interpret electromagnetic signals from space-based sources, such as satellites and other spacecraft, to gather intelligence on foreign capabilities, operations, and intentions
Focus on technical details of weapons systems, communication protocols, and advanced technology analysis requiring expertise in signal processing, space systems, and classified intelligence methodologies
Apply complex algorithms and techniques to identify, isolate, and extract meaningful information from raw signal data
Utilize knowledge of foreign space systems, communication protocols, and radar technology to interpret signal characteristics and identify potential threats
Determine the origin and purpose of intercepted signals, including identifying specific satellites or spacecraft
Produce detailed reports on findings, including analysis of operational patterns, capabilities, and potential threats
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a related area plus 12 years of experience
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of foreign satellite operations
Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology
Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks
Current active TS/SCI clearance required
