Job Description:

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant, ensuring a high standard of food, service, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing daily operations, leading a team, maintaining inventory, and upholding the restaurant’s brand and values. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff. Schedule shifts and manage performance to ensure efficient operations and high employee morale.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and ensure a positive dining experience. Implement customer service standards and resolve issues promptly.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Analyze financial reports and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Develop and execute marketing strategies to attract customers and increase revenue. Plan and coordinate special events and promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
  • Certification from recognized food safety organizations (e.g., ServSafe) may be required or preferred and TAM card.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software (Toast & Homebase) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
