Summary of Responsibilities:
The Yardi Systems Project Manager is a temporary full-time assignment with an anticipated commitment of twelve (12) months. This position is responsible for effectively leading and managing the implementation of Yardi software solutions for clients to include collaboration with internal teams (management, accounting, and leasing) to ensure the successful set-up and configuration, delivery and training, and on-going support of Yardi's suite of software products for property management, accounting, and related functions. In addition to performing other duties as assigned, core responsibilities include the following:
Implementation & Set-up:
Lead and manage the end-to-end implementation of Yardi software solutions, including Yardi Voyager Modules (Residential, Condo, and Commercial), Elevate (P2P, Maintenance IQ, Concierge IQ, Marketing IQ, Forecast IQ), Site Manager (RentCafe, CondoCafe, and CommercialCafe) and other relevant tools. Collaborate with clients to gather requirements and configure software to meet business needs and workflows. Develop and execute implementation plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure a smooth process from start to finish. Customize Yardi software systems to align with client requirements and business processes. Integrate Yardi with other third-party applications or systems used by the client. Client Training & Support:
Provide training to clients on how to use the Yardi system effectively, ensuring that users understand key features, processes, and best practices. Develop training materials and user guides tailored to client-specific needs. Offer ongoing support during and after the implementation phase to resolve issues and answer client questions. Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to ensure clear communication, set expectations, and identify any additional software requirements. Coordinate with internal teams, such as project managers, product experts, and customer support teams, to ensure project success. Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any roadblocks during implementation. Testing & Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough testing of the Yardi system during the implementation phase to ensure proper functionality and user experience. Perform data migration and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data being transferred to Yardi systems. Identify and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during implementation and work to resolve them promptly. Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed documentation of the implementation process, configurations, customizations, and user requirements. Prepare and present progress reports to clients and internal stakeholders. Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timelines are met. Summary of Requirements:
Ideal candidates for the Yardi Systems Project Manager position possess a minimum of five (5) years of Yardi software implementation experience (residential and commercial experience preferred); prior experience with accounting principles and real estate operations; strong technical knowledge of Yardi products; proficiency in system configuration, data migration and integration; and familiarity with SQL, data import/export processes and report generation. The successful candidate shall possess proven project management skills, and an effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and competing demands/deadlines. This position requires a high attention to accuracy and detail; effective verbal and written communication, professional presentation, client service, and problem-solving skills; and the successful ability to work independently and within a team. Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, information technology or related field or equivalent experience is required.
