Field Behavioral Health Case Manager Compensation
The pay for this position is $27.28 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Field Behavioral Health Case Manager Highlights
This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs The required availability for this position is M-F 8-5pm EST
Field Behavioral Health Case Manager Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of referred members to evaluate their needs and eligibility for services. Use clinical tools and data review to determine the appropriate course of action and care planning to meet their needs. Provide immediate crisis intervention for members experiencing behavioral health or medical crises. Ensure proper referrals to clinical providers and follow up to verify they are receiving the appropriate treatment. Develop holistic care plans using clinical judgment, regulatory standards, and program guidelines. Consult with supervisors, Medical Directors, and other multidisciplinary teams to overcome barriers and enhance care delivery. Present complex cases at case conferences to gather multidisciplinary input and achieve optimal outcomes for members. Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure appropriate benefit administration and care coordination. Occasionally travel up to 50 miles from your home address for regional trainings and meetings, including quarterly meetings in Columbus, OH.
Field Behavioral Health Case Manager Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Active and Unrestricted Behavioral Health Clinical License in Ohio (e.g., LMFT, LIMFT, LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC). 2+ years of experience in children’s mental health, child welfare, developmental disabilities, juvenile justice, or related human services/behavioral health fields, providing community-based services to children, youth, and their families. 3+ years of post-master’s degree clinical experience in a direct care setting (e.g., hospital, ambulatory care, outpatient clinic). 2+ years of experience in areas such as family systems, community resources, case management, child and family counseling, child protection, or child development. Must be a resident of Ohio. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with computer systems navigation. Must possess reliable transportation for travel to meetings/trainings, with mileage reimbursement available. Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
