Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Summary: We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Network Engineer to join our client’s team. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the overall health, functionality, performance, and security of the customer’s network infrastructure. This includes LAN/WAN connectivity, network hardware, telephony, VPN, firewalls, routers, switches, wireless access points as well as software-defined networks. Qualifications: Active TS/SCI clearance

required Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related engineering field preferred; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree 10+ years of experience as a network engineer CCNA, CCNP or CCIE certification required. Expert knowledge of Cisco and Juniper IOS, switching/routing protocols, QOS, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP etc. required. Working technical knowledge of network security tools and tactics required. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills required. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Stays current on the latest networking technologies and trends. Preferred: Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Additional Certifications Preferred: Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), Juniper Networks Certified Internet Expert (JNCIE), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and/or DOD 8570 IAT II Certification (Ex. Sec+, CISSP, GCIH, CYSA+). Responsibilities: Design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure for the organization Troubleshoot network performance issues and outages Maintain and upgrade network hardware, software, firewalls, switches, routers, phones, access points Implement network security measures and best practices Conduct capacity planning to meet future network infrastructure needs Maintain network infrastructure documentation and procedures Monitor network health, availability, and bandwidth utilization Work on network projects and new initiatives Train and mentor junior network engineers Occasional CONUS travel (less than 10%) May lead and direct the work of others EOE/ADA
