Job Description:
The main function of a Business Systems Analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. A typical business systems analyst is responsible for analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
Common Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Daily conduct system log monitoring and troubleshoot any interface errors or issues with online orders mainly within SAP S4/HANA system Support eCom process improvement projects and initiatives through evaluation of current work processes and identification of improvement strategies Manage operational support and assist in new product launches, focusing on pricing setup, SKU setup, MAP registration, and SKU extensions Distill vision and strategy for the team. Evangelize and motivate cross-functional teams. Assist in preparation of project planning and coordination, including but not limited to scheduling, defining roles, responsibilities, and documentation Monitor all interfaces in and out from N-ERP to vendors, warehouse management systems, and samsung.com to ensure seamless integration and functionalities Conduct month/quarter/year end closing activities by supporting accounting and finance team on finding the root cause on any AR discrepancies, fixing issues with engineering team, and performing deep dive analysis of order gaps Work with cross functional teams including HQ, Engineering teams, operation teams, and vendors if required Assist in presenting re-engineered processes to all levels of the organization
Background/Experience
At least 2-5 years of experience supporting operations and product delivery using SAP system Experience in process & SAP SD or FI/CO module management and business strategy Bachelor's degree in relevant field required (Computer science or information sciences and technology undergraduate degree strongly preferred) Demonstrable ability to looks for areas of improvement and proposes process improvement initiatives Proven execution of new process and system improvement strategies, principles, and techniques Experience in leading cross functional teams that gather information to identify improvement strategies by understanding the organization structure and effectively navigating to drive change management process and system Systems familiarity (ERP: SAP HANA, Postman, XML, Web Interface, Tableau) Proven ability using Microsoft Office products to Expert/Advanced level Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve team goals and complete assignments within established deadlines Experience in Confluence and JIRA preferred Strong analytical skills; Strong interpersonal skills Korean speaking is a plus but not required

Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation. Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed. Coordinate and link the computer systems within an organization to increase compatibility and so information can be shared. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Expand or modify system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage one's time. Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models. Knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
