Software Developer

Piper Companies is hiring a Software Developer for an insurance company located in Durham, NC. The Software Developer will provide application designs and solutions while working with the technical team to design system architecture.

The Software Developer will need to sit on site 3 days per week in Durham, NC. No sponsorship is available for this role.

Responsibilities of the Software Developer:

Analyze insurance systems, recommend modernization, and implement improvements. Collaborate with vendors to document and design implementation plans. Analyze data feeds, diagnose issues, and resolve application data problems. Work with developers and product owners to implement solutions. Serve as the primary contact for production issues. Requirements of the Software Developer:

Bachelors Degree or higher is Required 4+ years of experience in system analysis and database/application development, including web services Strong experience with JavaScript and SQL Solid background in supporting insurance domain applications. Proven experience working with onshore and offshore teams Compensation for the Software Developer:

$115,000 - $130,000 plus bonus Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave if required by law, and Holidays
