Position Overview
The Graphic Designer assists the Director, Marketing with essential marketing and lead generating designs for the portfolio in order to achieve traffic and brand awareness goals set forth by the company.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Conceptualize, design and create design solutions in accordance with corporate image and style standards including but not limited to: brochures, pricing collateral, flyers, digital and print ads, social media/web graphics, logos, interior and exterior signage and large-scale print projects. Work in fast paced environment managing graphic design projects for 25+ communities and the corporate office, meeting deadlines and adhering to set budgets. Ensure designs contribute meaning to company's results with innovative, creative and proactive thinking and measurable goals. Design successful marketing and lead generation campaigns to exceed leasing goals. Manage all design elements and projects for new developments including but not limited to property-specific collateral, detailed floor plans, property site plans and all other elements as outlined in the new development marketing timeline. Work with internal departments to maximize design efforts and ensure design projects are contributing to long- and short-term objectives. Monitor current design and marketing concepts as it relates to the senior living industry. Perform basic pre-print duties (creating print ready/hi-res PDFs). Manage the online ordering store front with current print vendors. Participate in an annual professional development conference. Promote Dial's mission, vision and values by positively advocating for the company and its team members in all internal and external communications. Education and Experience Required
Bachelor's Degree in graphic design, communication arts or related field. 2+ years' experience with increasing level of responsibility. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Highly proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to effectively manage competing and conflicting demands on time. Ability to work extended hours on occasion and when necessary to complete assigned tasks. Ability to balance tight deadlines with superior design. Ability to work in a cross-platform environment (PC/Mac). Working knowledge of social media, pre-press production and photo/video operation. Preferred Qualifications
Web design, Wordpress, email design and working HTML knowledge a plus. Knowledge in digital media including video and graphics UX/UI design photography. Project management via Zendesk or similar system preferred.
