Job Summary:
As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for the AutoCAD creation of our wireless infrastructure project plans and drawings for new site builds, modifications to existing sites, right-of-way sites, and associated items.
Job Duties and Responsibilities: Design/drafting of zoning and construction drawings, site plans, redline corrections, etc. for the purpose of wireless siting. Coordination with other team members and other offices in regard to plan readiness. Communicate drawing status and schedule to Project Manager and other team members. Ability to self-direct and prioritize workload. Organization and attention to detail are necessary for this position. Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
The availability to work overtime as needed per project demands and staffing levels. Ability to perform field surveys and permit application tasks when cross-training opportunities arise. Strong analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player attitude. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Education and Experience:
3-5 years experience with AutoCAD. Experience designing within telecommunications is required. Formal CAD education from trade school (or equivalent) is preferred. Basic knowledge of civil, electrical, mechanical and/or structural disciplines preferred. Experience with wireless, outside plant, and inside plant fiber optic design preferred.
