Job Summary:
Shriners Hospitals for Children - Portland is seeking a Full-time Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dynamic and enthusiastic multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities included evaluating and treating patients with: • Communication delays and assist with recommendations and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) • Feeding and swallowing disorders • Cleft lip and palate • Deficits in articulation and early language acquisition
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Master Degree in Speech Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech- Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Current Oregon Speech Therapy license is required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required Experience in pediatrics and augmentative communication is required Demonstrates the ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team 1 year experience in pediatric specialty hospital setting or clinical internship at any Shriners facility
