As an E&S Property intern, you will gain real world working experience and see how a high paced insurance Business Unit operates. Interns will be trained to the same standards as a newly hired underwriter and shadow various teammates each with their own unique set of skillsets/specialties.
Responsibilities: Assisting/shadowing their respective manager Data Cleansing Participating is several business development projects Networking internally and externally Assisting underwriters in all other day to day tasks that build the foundation of our business Qualifications:
Preferred Majors: Risk Management or Business Grade Level: Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Master's student Microsoft Product Suite - proficient to advanced Strong mathematical skills Ability to multi-task Entrepreneurial about learning and advancing Interpersonal skills a must
This internship is open to the following locations: Philadelphia, PA; Atlanta, GA and New York City, NY. The NYC pay has a base range of $23 - $30 per hour. The hourly estimate displayed represents the typical hourly range for candidates hired in this position in NYC. Factors that may be used to determine your actual rate will include your undergraduate or graduate level, specific skills, how many years of experience you have in comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
