Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Custom Cabinet Designer & Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, a strong understanding of cabinetry construction, and the ability to provide accurate estimates. This role combines creativity and technical expertise to deliver tailored cabinetry solutions for residential and commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget.
Develop custom cabinet designs using CAD software or other design tools.
Prepare detailed and accurate project estimates, including material costs, labor, and timelines.
Create and present design concepts and 3D renderings to clients for approval.
Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with manufacturing capabilities.
Review project specifications and make recommendations for design enhancements.
Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and best practices in cabinetry design.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cabinet designer, interior designer, or related role.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, 2020 Design, or equivalent).
Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction techniques and materials.
Excellent mathematical and estimation skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
Degree or certification in interior design, architecture, or a related field (preferred but not required).
