We are seeking an Assistant Account Executive for our Long-Term Care division.
Functions & Responsibilities will include
:
Responsibilities include issuance of certificates of Insurance, ID cards, schedule of insurance.
Assist in handling applications, endorsements, billing, updating policies and client contact follow up.
Prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews
Process placement requests and invoicing
Liaise with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices
Handle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questions
Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive
Respond to service inquiries
Process add/term requests
Provide assistance in managing renewal process
Follow up with carriers to obtain outstanding information
Update internal reporting systems and internal databases (as necessary)works with Individual and small group insurance
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years prior office experience
Good oral and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
NY P&C License preferred
Familiar with Epic software a plus
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Negligible
Required Education: High school or equivalent
