We're searching for a forward-thinking Senior Process Engineer to play an integral part in a wide range of projects across industrial sectors such as chemical, food/beverage, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. This is no ordinary engineering role – you'll be the mastermind behind groundbreaking designs, a technical expert who inspires innovation, and a strategic thinker who ensures our projects not just meet but exceed our client’s needs. Projects Variety Examples: Designing and executing a facility buildout for a consumer goods manufacturer. Evaluate and propose solutions to a finished good transfer system for a petrochemical plant. Redundancy design to provide ability for frequent cleaning without impacting production time or product quality. Processing building addition, tank farm expansion, and new in-line blending capability for beverage plant. Here's a Taste of What You'll Be Doing: Planning, organizing, and performing detailed process design with capability to manage engineering activities. Research applicable industry standards, prepare and critique engineering studies, and analyze systems. Develop and review engineering specifications and project cost estimates. Direct and review work of project design team, check progress of work, and alert managers to change of scope and additional services. Coordinate all aspects of project document completion. Direct CAD designers for the preparation of construction drawings. Interpret applicable codes and work with code officials and other design professionals. Coordinate project design with other engineering disciplines. You'll Be a Perfect Fit if You Have: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related engineering degree. At least eight years of design experience creating construction documents for industrial, power, oil & gas, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food & beverage facilities. Experience preparing, reviewing, and approving PFD’s, P&ID’s, piping orthographic and isometric drawings, bill of materials, equipment and piping specifications. Working knowledge of manual and automatic valve types and applications. Working knowledge of control valve and flow meter sizing and selection. Thorough understanding of process controls. Thorough understanding of piping flexibility and stress analysis is preferred. Working knowledge of ASME BPVC, Division 1. API standards – 521, 620, 650, 2000 preferred. Piping codes - ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.5, and B31.8. Pressure drop calculations for incompressible and compressible fluids. Equipment and piping specifications, sizing pressure relief devices, sizing centrifugal and PD pumps, and other process equipment.
