Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee and maintain our Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with AS9100 standards. The Quality Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our products and processes meet the highest quality and safety standards required by the aerospace industry.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve the company's QMS to ensure compliance with AS9100 requirements. Develop and implement quality policies, procedures, and work instructions. Manage internal and external audits, including supplier audits. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address non-conformances and prevent recurrence. Monitor key quality metrics and report on QMS performance to management. Oversee the control of nonconforming material and the material review board process. Manage the calibration program for measuring and test equipment. Provide quality training to employees. Interact with customers and suppliers on quality-related issues. Stay up-to-date on changes to AS9100 standards and industry best practices. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Manager in an AS9100 certified environment. Thorough understanding of AS9100 requirements and aerospace quality management principles. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies. Auditing experience (internal and supplier audits). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications:
AS9100 Lead Auditor certification. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification. Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Benefits
