ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a

Mobile Response Team (MRT) Social Worker

with Seneca, you will provide proactive early intervention before crises escalate to divert youth from more restrictive interventions. You will work alongside a team of dedicated mental health professionals and provide same-day crisis intervention for youth facing immediate crises and ensure that families receive coordinated care and access to long-term services. Our team's overarching goal is to:

Prevent suicide

Minimize psychiatric hospitalization

Decrease police involvement

Reduce the criminalization of mental health.

Our program specifically caters to low-income and at-risk community members, offering assistance to youth with Medi-Cal or no insurance. These crisis intervention services are provided in homes, schools, and various community locations. You will respond to each crisis as a team, never going out alone, while collaborating with fellow community partners that work to serve our youth.
