POSITION 24P18 TITLE:

Homebound Teachers (24-25)

LOCATION:

QUALIFICATIONS:

WV Teacher Certification. Currently employed by Marshall County Schools. Preference will be given to employees with successful homebound instruction experience.

SCHEDULE:

As per need of homebound student. When available, the teacher will be assigned other instructional duties.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver homebound instruction in core academics of RLA, Math, Science and Social Studies and potentially other subjects. Provide instruction and act as liaison between the student and school. Documentation of attendance to home school. Strong working/communication skills with students, parents, and peers. Services will be provided in home setting or agreed setting. Maintain logs of assignments picked up from home school and delivered back to home school. Maintains professional work habits and adheres to the Teacher Code of Conduct. EMPLOYMENT TERM: 2024-2025 school year as needed, no need to reapply.

SALARY:

$30 per hour plus mileage from home school to student residence (or instruction area) and back to home school.
