Job Description
Position Summary:
The CNG Driver will be responsible for the safe trucking of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) from the NexTier Hub in Pecos, TX to customer locations. This position will report directly to the PSL Operations Manager-Power Solutions. We are currently executing an aggressive integrated strategy within the Permian Basin and we are looking for safety motivated, and passionate employees to join our team! This is the perfect opportunity for a dedicated individual who would like to leave their mark with a leading company in the industry. This position requires no handling of fluids and minimal climbing on equipment. I.E. clean and dry.
Schedule: The position involves daily local driving between customer sites and the NexTier Pecos, TX CNG hub 12-hour shifts am/pm or longer if needed within DOT compliance Multiple days off schedules available to accommodate drivers Per diem available for qualified candidates Responsibilities:
Safe transport of Compressed Natural Gas from hub compression stations to customer sites Safe operation of tractor & trailer to/from off road customer locations Removal and transportation of empty CNG trailers from customer sites to Hub locations Hook-up and decoupling of hoses to/from compression stations and pressure reduction systems Pre/Post trip checks of operating vehicles Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
All Levels
High school diploma or GED certificate Must be at least 21 years of age or older Must have and maintain a valid Class A CDL with manual shift experience, be eligible to drive a Company vehicle and meet the requirements of the Company's vehicle program, policy and/or guidelines
Level 2
Internal Applicants:6+ months' experience as an CNG Driver 1, successfully meeting all competency requirements External Applicants: 1+ years' experience in the fracturing industry Experience in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
Level 3
Internal Applicants: 6+ months' experience as an CNG Driver 2, successfully meeting all competency requirements External Applicants: 2+ years' experience in the fracturing industry Experience in repair and maintenance of heavy equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements Prior military service
Language Comprehension
Ability to understand and speak English at a level of proficiency allowing employees to issue, receive and respond to both safety and operations-related directions in English.
