As the Senior UX Manager for Core UX, you'll be responsible for all Prime Customer outcomes, overseeing research initiatives and design systems that drive innovation and value for hundreds of millions of members globally. Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of UX researchers, writers, technologists and designers, fostering their growth and development
Drive the worldwide Prime UX research strategy and roadmap in partnership with cross-functional teams
Oversee complex, high-impact research initiatives to define future product strategies
Develop the strategy with the design leads to develop and implement design systems that enhance the Prime CX
Guide the research team responsible for the Prime CXO (customer experience outcomes)
Analyze member behavior and preferences to inform feature development and increase Prime's value proposition
Adapt and create new UX research methodologies to meet unique product and business goals
Translate research insights into actionable strategies that benefit both the business and customers
Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and various stakeholders
Lead and guide the Design Studio, a cross-functional team responsible for the elevation of the Prime Design library globally
About the team
The Amazon Prime UX team is at the heart of the Prime membership. We innovate and design on behalf of our customers and are relentlessly focused on improving the membership experience to delight customers around the globe. To accomplish that, we are seeking a Principal UX Designer to join our growing team and help lead, define, and improve the end-to-end Prime CX. Prime UX researchers and designers work with global Product, Marketing, Branding, Science, and Tech team partners, to deliver compelling customer experiences for Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
10+ years of UX research and design experience, preferably in subscription or membership services
Strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Proven track record of driving positive customer impact on large-scale products
Experience managing and mentoring cross-functionl UX professionals
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Deep understanding of customer needs, business landscapes, product functionality, and technologies
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred
Experience in various product spaces, with a bonus for shopping and membership
Preferred Qualifications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $179,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $296,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
