Job Overview:

This position supports Health Information Systems and applications at all levels including participating in upgrades and new projects, Compile and organize health care data from a variety of sources into formats relative to the audience. Analyze data to assist in delivering optimal health care management and decision making. Make recommendations for clinical documentation changes/additions that optimize data collection as well as complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Develop and maintain procedures to ensure the integrity, security, and availability of all Health and Wellness data. Complies with HIPAA rules and maintains all patient information confidentially and securely.

Combination of post-secondary education in Business, Information Technology, or the Healthcare field and experience with medical applications to equal 6 years. EMR/EHR experience with a preference for direct NextGen experience. Excellent computer skills to include but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, SSRS, SSMS, Visual Studio, and various data visualization tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must hold and maintain Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. If not, CPR certified upon hire, must obtain certification within 90 days of employment. Capacity to handle and lift up to 25 lbs. as needed.
