A day as a Driver Helper:
Transport meals, meal carts, and any equipment needed between the DO & CO Facilities and third party vendors, and the airport Load/unload aircraft according to DO & CO and airline regulations, specifications and equipment handling Ensure flights are catered correctly at all times Cater to DO & CO's client's airlines and handle airlines equipment expeditiously and safely Ensure all vehicles are maintained in full working condition (including fueling and pre/post checks) and reports any vehicle irregularities to dispatch immediately Comply with all LAX, CBP, DOT and all other applicable rules/regulations Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations and all applicable rules/regulations Who you are:
Able to obtain a LAWA Airport ID with a Drivers Icon and CBP Icon s) Able to manage through a substantial workload Able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five (75) pounds Able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet Regularly stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines Flexibility (able to work different shifts -days, nights, weekends, holidays) What we offer:
