Lead cloud data stewardship initiatives, employing advanced Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI) tools to facilitate seamless data and application integration across the cloud infrastructure. Leads the discussion with IT organization for setting up the advanced cloud data/knowledge infrastructure and accelerated deployment of AI driven models for material/process/product design. Leads the deployment of advanced data-driven and physics-based models to guide and accelerate the development of products, materials and processes for sustainable solutions and new mobility applications. Capable of meticulous gathering requirements from the end users in business groups, analyze and interpret their data using advanced statistical and data mining techniques. Serve as the technical lead in strategic data management projects, designing and optimizing data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and data migration processes with tools such as Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC). Propose, execute and defend project concepts; collaborate and plan model development, validation and deployment as appropriate with Freudenberg Business Groups. Take the lead to design, develop, test, deploy, support and enhance the complex and varied automated infrastructure and platform components. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree (preferred) in computer science / data engineering or materials science / chemistry / chemical engineering / physics / mechanical engineering / mathematics with a focus on data engineering. Minimum of 8 years of related work experience after bachelor’s degree or 6 years after master’s degree. Expertise in CDI and CAI, with strong API development skills Experience with CI/CD and other automation for cloud deployments. Proficiency with infrastructure as code, cloud infrastructure management and serverless technologies (Azure preferred). Proficiency in CDQ (Cloud Data Quality) and CDP (Cloud Data Profiling) with a deep understanding of data quality assurance. Proven understanding of modern data architectures and concepts such as cloud services (Azure), real-time data distribution and processing (Kafka, Flink), and modern data warehouse tools sql (Snowflake, Databricks).
