The Data Governance Manager will refine and advance the data governance function at Accertify, which encompasses data cataloging, lineage documentation, and data quality assessments. They will assess and implement strong data quality, consistency, and compliance standards throughout the organization. Additionally, they will provide project management skills while collaborating with various teams, including Privacy and Information Security, to ensure adherence to global privacy standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, Data Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data governance, data quality management, project management, or related field. Proven experience in developing and implementing data governance policies, standards, and best practices. Project management experience, managing workstreams through cross-functional stakeholder teams, and driving accountability for data quality. Familiarity with software development practices and contemporary technologies. Experience working alongside technical teams in an Agile development environment. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:

Certifications in data governance or data quality (e.g., CDMP, DGSP, or similar). Strong expertise in data quality assessment methodologies and frameworks. Experience in eCommerce Payments or Risk industry; familiarity with eCommerce Risk terminology and concepts. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements (GDPR, PCI). Familiarity with contemporary SDLC tools, such as JIRA.

Additional Details:

Potential salary range: $86,000-120,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
