Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with 12 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Network and Security domain. The work model is hybrid / onsite with day shifts and no travel required. Responsibilities and Qualifications: * Candidate should have years of experience in Network and Security domain. * Candidate should have good experience in managing enterprise network topologies with Cisco IOS/NXOS, Junos OS route/switch infrastructure * Candidate should have good experience with layer 2/3 switching technologies, VLAN, spanning tree protocol, and Cisco switching best practices and procedures. * Candidate should have good experience in Implementing and maintaining enterprise WIFI including the Cisco WLC, AP and Juniper MIST. * Experience with SolarWinds, Infoblox and similar network management tools. * Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal network uptime and performance * Assist in the documentation of network configurations, automation scripts, and operational procedures to ensure consistency and reliability. * Work on traditional network protocols like STP, dot1x, BGP, OSPF, etc and network devices for troubleshooting network issues. * Support day-to-day network operations, including monitoring network performance, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and performing routine maintenance tasks. * Candidate should be well Familiar with ITIL process and procedures. * Working knowledge of infrastructure components; cloud, compute, database and storage. * Experience diagnosing performance issues in complex distributed applications. * Candidate should be good team player and having experience in working with Offshore & onshore team. * Candidate should be having good communication skills
***Applications will be accepted until 1/6/25 Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is [$99,000 to $133,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
