Senior Software Engineer - Quadient/Exstream

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quadient Developer / Document Composition Specialist to join our team. The team is responsible for sending millions of service, marketing, and regulatory communications to external WI participants. The position involves using Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream for document composition, development, testing, and release of product features in an Agile delivery environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Quadient, XML/JSON scripting, and document composition platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain applications using Quadient Inspire and OpenText Exstream platforms to generate sophisticated communications (service, marketing, and regulatory). Create and maintain XML/JSON data files, handling complex data types and ensuring seamless integration with document composition workflows. Program, test, and resolve complex workflows, including batch and on-demand communications. Set up and manage workflows to support document template design using Inspire Interactive. Define document blocks and compose document templates within the Quadient Inspire platform. Define and configure Scalar workflows for the automated processing of input data files. Develop and send emails in both HTML and plain text formats. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and streamline document production workflows. Resolve internal/external inquiries related to input/output requirements, strategic planning, and alignment with internal checks and quality assurance. Contribute to standardizing new and existing processes across teams. Assist with data file analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintain internal documentation related to issues, resolutions, usage topics, and training to ensure consistency across teams. Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in Quadient Inspire (Versions 11/12/14+) and OpenText Exstream platforms. Hands-on experience with Quadient Inspire Designer and Quadient ICM (at least 5 years of recent experience). Strong proficiency in Quadient Inspire Scaler and Interactive modules. Solid experience in composing Batch and On-Demand Communications within the Quadient Inspire platform. Expertise in Quadient Inspire Scripting for document automation and workflow configuration. Strong knowledge of XML/JSON data formats and their application in document composition. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on workflow optimization and process improvements. Positive, consultative demeanor with a strong work ethic, able to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with OpenText Exstream platform (highly preferred). Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and experience working in an Agile development environment. Previous experience with data file analysis and the ability to work with large and complex data sets
Certifications (if applicable):
Any relevant certifications related to Quadient or OpenText Exstream are a plus but not required.
